New Romanticism.

New Romanticism is a light-hearted, playful collection with a touch of nostalgia from the fashion era of the 16s.

The historical fashion elements from the 60s such as the bubble sleeves, elongated cuffs and hook-and-eye closure are reinterpreted in a modern, contemporary style.

The use of the French embroidery method, Luneville, adds a layer of intricacy to the millinery flowers that are hand-tacked individually onto the garments. The edges of the flowers are purposely left raw to add a modern edge to the collection. Think of the Japanese term "Wabi Sabi" - there is beauty in imperfections.
